    Finishing Challenges:

    Prior to implementing the Rollem Slitting Solutions, our finishing process was heavily manual and segmented. Each step—scoring, perforating, slitting—required separate machines and handoffs, which introduced unnecessary delays, labor intensity, and opportunities for error. It limited our efficiency and slowed down our ability to get finished postcards out the door quickly. We were also dealing with bottlenecks in our cutting department, particularly with guillotine cutters, which added hours to our production day and impacted our overall turnaround times.

    Key Factors Leading to Rollem:

    We were looking for a system that could simplify and speed up our finishing process without compromising quality. Because of this, we've been able to reduce our turnaround times significantly and improve our delivery promises to clients. Our cutting line includes two XY Slitting system operating in-line with our UV coaters and our ETR XY system runs in-line with our folder gluer so we’re covering all formats with redundancy and flexibility with Rollem’s finishing solutions.

    Product Expansion:

    The Rollem systems have enabled us to expand our product offerings, including the addition of two new proprietary postcard lines that weren't feasible with our old setup. It's given us the flexibility to innovate and respond to client needs with more customized and diverse direct mail products.     We developed and customized much of our own internal technology stack—including our print pipeline, workflow automation, and imposing systems—to maximize speed, quality, and output.
