January 22, 2019, Toronto, ON – Crawford Technologies, provider of innovative document solutions that streamline, improve and manage customer communications, will be exhibiting and speaking at ATIA 2019, the annual conference of the Assistive Technologies Industries Association, being held January 30-Feburary 2 at the Caribe Royale Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. ATIA offers the world's most extensive assistive technology conference showcasing international excellence in the field. In Booth 802, Crawford Technologies will showcase its document accessibility solutions, including Auto Tagger for Accessibility and AccessibilityNow.com. Auto Tagger for Accessibility, Crawford Technologies’ ground-breaking software program, offers businesses the ability to easily and automatically tag and convert documents into print-ready Accessible PDF (WCAG 2.0 and PDF/UA) or Accessible HTML5, ensuring compliance with global regulations. AccessibilityNow.com is a convenient and affordable e-commerce service to upload PDF files and receive back a properly formatted Accessible PDF document (PDF/UA, WCAG 2.0, level AA).

As a recognized leader in automated accessibility software and remediation services, Crawford Technologies has a mission to raise awareness for the need for businesses to offer accessible documents, particularly with the Section 508 refresh going into effect. The company will be leading two speaking sessions at the event:

  • “Leveraging Technology to Automate Document Tagging” in Boca 1 on Thursday, January 31 from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. presented by Dennis Quon, EDP, director, document accessibility solutions, Crawford Technologies. This session will cover how automated tools can facilitate high-volume tagging and how the availability of AI-based auto tagging solutions can make documents accessible easily and quickly.

  • “E-commerce and Automation Remove Barriers to Making Documents Accessible” in the Exhibit Hall Theater on Friday, February 1 from 12:00 to 12:25 p.m. presented by Scott Baker, executive VP business development, Crawford Technologies, and Dennis Quon.
