April 6, 2015 - New City, NY- US Monitor has announced that it has added a comprehensive mail condition reporting service to its mail tracking and list protection services in response to the increased incidence of mailings being delivered in poor condition.

The new service lets mailers know if poor condition is affecting their mail delivery and whether damaged mailings or missing inserts are hurting their response rates. A recent project involving a national catalog brand showed that 23% of the catalogs received by our field agents arrived in poor condition.

Mailers will learn if their direct mail or catalogs are received torn, creased, smudged, wrinkled, stained or with water damage; whether there are printing errors or problems with ink jetting and addressing and if contents are missing after mail is opened.

Direct mailers will have the ability to receive scanned images or to have the damaged pieces returned to them. Custom programs are available. To find out the condition of your mailings go to www.usmonitor.com/cmc.
